Reliable or contractually defined income
Social Security, pensions when applicable, and other sources can be considered alongside their timing, flexibility, and role in household income.
Retirement planning
Retirement planning begins with the income sources, assets, responsibilities, and questions you already have—not with a financial product.
Schedule a ConsultationThe MIB approach
A useful retirement-income conversation can include the ways money may enter, leave, and remain available to your household over time. The goal is to understand how the pieces may work together before deciding whether anything needs to change.
Social Security, pensions when applicable, and other sources can be considered alongside their timing, flexibility, and role in household income.
Qualified retirement accounts, Roth accounts, brokerage and other non-qualified assets, cash reserves, existing annuities, and life insurance can each serve different purposes.
Debt, household cash flow, protection needs, health considerations, tax questions, and legacy objectives can change how an otherwise familiar strategy fits.
A planning conversation
The right outcome is not always a new strategy. Sometimes the clearest recommendation is to keep what is already serving your objectives.
What is working well and deserves to remain part of the retirement plan?
Where could more coordination, clarity, or structure strengthen the income picture?
What, if anything, may no longer fit the direction you want to take?
Coordinated income streams
MIB helps clients explore where retirement income may come from, which sources may be more reliable or contractually defined, which may be exposed to market or longevity risks, and what assets may need to stay liquid. The point is not to rely on a single account, product, or strategy when a coordinated view may be more useful.
Retirement analysis is educational and shaped by individual facts, objectives, and assumptions.
When appropriate
Existing account distributions, Social Security, pensions, brokerage assets, cash reserves, and other income-producing assets can be reviewed as part of a coordinated picture.
A Fixed Indexed Annuity may be evaluated when appropriate as one potential way to create contractual retirement-income streams and address longevity or income needs. It is not an investment in a stock-market index, and it is not appropriate for every situation.
Properly structured permanent life insurance, including Indexed Universal Life when appropriate, may be considered for protection, accumulation potential, and potential tax-advantaged access to policy values within a broader strategy.
A deliberate next step
A consultation creates space to understand your current picture, clarify your goals, and identify the areas that deserve a closer look.
